What we collect

• Account details such as name, email and security records.
• Venue identity and public food-hygiene information, including FHRS/FHIS records.
• Daily checks, photos, notes, documents, staff names and in-house training records you choose to store.
• Support messages, billing status and transaction references. RatingWorks does not store complete card details.
• Essential security/session data and, only with consent, analytics and advertising measurement data.

Why we use it

We use information to provide and secure the service, create venue records and documents, support customers, administer payments, meet legal/accounting duties, prevent abuse and improve the product. Optional analytics and advertising measurement rely on consent.

Who receives it

Data may be processed by our hosting, email, payment and support providers. With consent, analytics/advertising data may be sent to Google and Meta. Public rating data is obtained from official food-hygiene services. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and your rights

We keep account and venue records while the service is active and afterwards only as needed for legal, safety, accounting, dispute and fraud-prevention purposes. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability where the law applies, and object to certain processing. Contact support@ratingworks.co.uk. Customer responsibility

Food businesses remain responsible for food safety, lawful staff-data handling and deciding what records they enter. RatingWorks is not affiliated with or endorsed by the FSA or a local authority.
